"To be fair, the car leading the race always has a strategy disadvantage, due to the fact that it cannot know what those following are going to do. Red Bull had some strategy fails due to this, in recent years.

That said, that Norris wasn't told to pit under the safety car is a complete fail of strategy.

It's also not the first time this season, that McLaren was too slow in coming to a decision about strategy. That their car has been the best all season, has compensated for the strategy fails, even today.

Let's all remember too, that the team doesn't win anything, when a driver wins the Driver's Championship."

"Yesterday I thought "Turk has it all under control, unlike Zak."

Now, the incompetence of McLaren team strategy just beggars belief - for the second race running. Just as well there is only one race left to screw up '25 for their drivers. If either wins the championship now it won't be down to Zak and his keystone kop crew."
